Chukki rangoli 15 to 8 interlaced dots

Though the dot pattern is relatively big , it is quite a simple rangoli as can be seen from the steps shown through the pictures.  For our festival decoration like Sankranthi, Ugadi and NavaratriNext step in this chukki rangoli design for competition

With colours it is beautiful but a simple one.

During Dhanurmasam there is a tradition of placing kumbalakayi huvvu ( yellow in colour ) on a cow dung ball.  Around this four more are placed.  All are dried and used to boil water for bathing on Rathasapthami !!
