Offerings include sugar candy, cardamom garland ( elakkai malai )

We can visit this temple when we plan a trip of temple in Pondicherry or we can include this temple in our pilgrimage to Chidambaram or Thirukadaiyur.  When we travel from Chennai as we did ,  we can have darshan in this temple and proceed to Thirukadaiyur.  We can have a darshan in Chidambaram when we return .  This is because after darshan of Sri Devanatha Swamy we may not have time to reach Chidambaram before the temple  closes in the morning and that is around 12 noon.
